IRATA Training.
In cooperation with Global Link Services Pte Ltd (IRATA 3030/OT) we at GLOSS now provides all level of training for industrial rope access:
There are three levels of qualification for rope access technicians:
Level 1:
A rope access technician who is able to perform a limited range of rope
access tasks under the supervision of an IRATA level 3 rope access
technician. 5-day training course in rope access. Independent IRATA
assessment.
NOTE: While in the process of being trained to level 1, a person should be considered to be a trainee.
Level 2:
A rope access technician who is capable of rigging working ropes,
undertaking rescues and performing rope access tasks under the
supervision of an IRATA level 3 safety supervisor. 5-day training course
in rope access, rigging and rescue. Independent IRATA assessment.
Level 3: A rope access technician who is capable of site supervision for rope access work projects; is able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of levels 1, 2 and 3; is conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation; has a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques; holds a current first aid certificate and has knowledge of the IRATA certification scheme. 5-day training course in advanced rope access techniques, rescue, equipment examination and legislation. Independent IRATA assessment.
Requirement: No previous experience required. Aptitude for working at height. Physically and medically fit. Minimum age of 18 years.
